How to quickly navigate through Folders and their Subfolders ?

You can open a folder using the Browse Media button, dragging and dropping a folder from Windows Explorer into the File List or into the Source Media text box, or pasting a valid path into the Source Media text box.

When a folder is opened, its subfolders are also searched and counted.
In the 'Media Source Folder' frame is displayed 'Now in folder 1 : x'
This means you are in folder 1, the root folder, and this folder has x-1 subfolders.

You can iterate through all subfolders sequentially:
- move forward using Ctrl+Right, F6 key or > button,
- go back using Ctrl+Left, F5 key or < button

The App has two modes to read subfolders of a given folder.
This is important and useful.

One mode is to read All subfolders of a folder.

The other mode is to read only Top Folders, i.e. all subfolders only up to a defined depth.

Depth 1 (Top) means only the first subfolders of a given folder, Depth 2 (Top 2) means the subfolders of a given folder and their subfolders, and so on.

You can toggle between these two modes using Ctrl+Alt+F7 or AltGr+F7 or by context menu.

In Top Folders mode you can set the desired depth using Alt+Up to increase the depth or Alt+Down to decrease it, or by the context menu.

It is recommended to use Top Folders mode and increase the depth as needed, especially on folders or drives with many subfolders.

How to quickly navigate through Files in a folder ?

The media file selected in the File List is displayed or played automatically.
You can change the selected file using Down and Up keys or by clicking the file you want to open.

How to set a playback sequence ?

For Music and Video playback or Picture Slideshow, there are 5 playback sequence modes.

They are set using the Shift+Right and Shift+Left keys or by context menu.

The 5 modes are:
»       Play sequentially all files in the current folder
»»     Play sequentially all files in each folder, when finished it advances to the next folder, and so on.
x       Play only x files from current folder
x»     Play only x files from each folder, when finished it advances to the next folder, and so on.

F/»»  Play only 'Folder Suffix' files from each folder, when finished it advances to the next folder, and so on.

This means that if you have 3 folders called 'Genre-A 2', 'Genre-B 4' and 'Genre-C 3' for example, the playback sequence will be 2 musics from 'Genre-A 2' folder, 4 musics from 'Genre-B 4' folder and 3 musics from 'Genre-C 3' folder.

Shuffle Files, Shuffle Folders, Shuffle All and Repeat modes can be set by context menu or shortcuts:

Ctrl+Z toggles Shuffle All mode on and off
Ctrl+R toggles Repeat mode on and off
